The course curriculum is presented in a 16- chapter format following the Professional Medical Coding Curriculum to prepare for the AAPC certification examination. The course includes medical terminology overview, basic anatomy overview, ICD-9 coding, CPT coding, HCPCS coding, principles and application of evaluation and management codes, Surgical and CPT modifiers and coding on all systems of the body, Pathology and Laboratory and Medicine.

Cost: $1,600 includes 10 weeks of instruction for the experienced student, student workbooks, membership in the AAPC, examination fee, weekly quizzes and homework, mock CPC exams, a 6 hour review and study session prior to the exam.

Beginner Coders: $2500.00 includes a 10 week course, 2 nights a week of instruction, student workbooks, membership in the AAPC, examination fee, weekly quizzes and homework, mock CPC exams, a 6 hour review and study sessions prior to the exam. The course covers Medical Terminology, Anatomy, CPT & ICD-9 coding and billing.

All instructors are approved by the American Academy of Professional Coders.
